Lobster Fest '11

Forget Red Lobster...you want the good stuff, you gotta go the source!  We spent our Memorial Day in Maine eating like kings!  No joke, we had lobster for nearly every meal besides breakfast.

We had lobster rolls, complete with the buttery toasted New England style rolls....

We bibbed up for the lobster dinner...

and had to follow the instructions in order to crack our crustaceans...

and man, oh, man...was it good!

By our second day in Maine we had it figured out.
Why buy it when you can do it yourself??

Nope, we didn't even try our hand at this...

because we stumbled across this little gem pool at Wal-Mart in Portland!  (And yes, those lobsters were only $5.95 a pound!)

Since Wallyworld offered to do the cooking for us for free...

That little guy turned into our dinner!

Add a couple of Wendy's baked potatoes, some bread rolls and a side of KFC corn (disappointingly, not on the cob though) and you've got a heck of a dinner!

Even if it is on a paper plate.
