Fall Fun at Ellms Family Farm

What woman doesn't love shopping?  But sometimes dragging a baby in tow can be a little daunting.  Ever since Colt's arrival, Heather's newest shopping obsession has become the Groupon and Living Social websites!  She's found tons of great local deals online and it's a great opportunity for us to explore the area for a fraction of the cost.

A few weeks ago Ellms Family Farm in Ballston Spa posted a special on Living Social.  For $17, you got admission to the farm for two people, apple cider, apple cider donuts (they are unbelievably amazing!) plus 20 lbs. of pumpkins.  It was a deal!

We loaded up and headed to Ballston Spa, which is about 20 minutes north of Clifton Park and just before Saratoga Springs.  Ellms Family Farm attracts folks from all over Upstate New York!

The Farm is a perfect place for tiny humans!  It was fun to be around all the different ages of kids and see what we have to look forward to in the future....pure and utter chaos!

Colt was a little young to do most of it, but Brett had no problems filling in for him.  Luckily, he didn't knock any other kids down while "playing."

Ellms Family Farm features a huge Corn Maze that we had to try.  They actually give you giant flags so they can find you if you get lost on the inside.

The maze takes about an hour and a half to complete!  Needless to say, we didn't last that long.  There were too many other things to do!  For example, Colt took his dad down the 60 foot long big slide.  Dad didn't get scared even for a minute.

Colt also helped his dad win the Duck Races.  He had to pump the water fast to make his duck float to the finish line first!

Colt didn't mind keeping his mom warm on the hayride through the pumpkin patch.  We saw thousands of pumpkins and Christmas Trees on our ride!

We had lots of fun at Ellms Family Farm and can't wait to come back again next year!
