Buzzer Beater: Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame

One of Heather's favorite new past times is stalking Groupon and Living Social for good deals.  When she stumbled across 2-for-the-price-of-1 to the Basketball Hall of Fame, she snapped it up!

Some folks might remember that Brett was the only person in his church basketball league to ever get kicked out of a game, as both a player and a coach.  Heather spent many years shinning the pine for her high school team, but whateves....her name hangs on the gym wall at Twin Rivers High School celebrating the year her team won district's, just like the names of the girls who actually played.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is located in Springfield, Massachusetts  less than two hours from our home in Clifton Park.  It's home to more than 40,000 square feet of basketball history!  We got to see a ton of interesting things, from Pistol Pete's floppy socks to the original Boston Celtics uniforms.  One of the best parts was an 'open gym' where you could practice your free throws!  The best part is that you don't have to be a huge basketball fan to enjoy the museum!
